My Story

I graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.  I taught myself programming.  In the early 80's I wrote a Construction Project Manager program in Turbo Pascal called the "Million Dollar Project Manager Tool".  I sold a couple of copies of the program and successfully used the program to Estimates, Job Costs, run Payroll and do other Accounting functions for a small  construction general contractor.

After a couple of other programming stints in the eighties and nineties I was introduced to the World Wide Web at the

National Renewable Energy Laboratory.  I was a database programmer in the Alternative Fuels Data-center.   Our mission was

to create Web applications to promote the use of non-petroleum fuels.  During this time I created a API (application programming

interface) for users to talk to databases.  Many of the same libraries and routines are being used today in this Spreadsheet

to Database transformation.  Many of the routines and programs are very old but they worked 20 years ago and they still work

today.

The program is written in PHP and I use the MYSQL database.  Both of these programs are free and can be downloaded from the internet.  Both PHP and MYSQL are open systems meaning that they are free and anyone is able to look at the source code.  Because of this I am able to offer the software for free.  Please contact me if you want a copy of all the programs and source code.

I use the program to track my individual checking accounts, run billing and other accounting functions for my rental and AirBNB

properties and use the database tables to easily run my small business.  Since the program is a great time savor and works for

me, I decided to open it up let anyone use the program free!  Each client will get limited amount of customer service time.  After that time is spent I will charge a minimal amount per hour for continued customer service.  This way a new user can "get his feet wet" and learn run the program for free.  If after the initial period you want to continue to use the software I will do anything in my power to make your business as efficient and convenient as possible.  Thank you and I hope you enjoy the program!
